As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine foot patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related issues. You will monitor assigned areas, control access as directed, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site leadership while documenting observations and responding to requests. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-tech facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documenting, and communicating updates per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by location.
  • Control access by checking identification, monitoring entries and exits, directing visitors to proper destinations, and maintaining required logs and records.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems, escalating maintenance issues and/or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as directed.
