Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, assisting with visitor sign-in and/or badging processes, and directing individuals to appropriate locations based on site procedures.
• Complete security-related logs and reports, document incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
