About The Position

As a Security Officer - Weekdays Warehouse Patrols in Covington Township, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and exits at a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, access logs, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed.
