As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to concerns, and deliver a welcoming customer experience through clear communication. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial office property, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading areas, and parking locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and building activity, verifying credentials and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying appropriate contacts, and assisting with crowd control and/or evacuation direction as needed.
• Complete reports and logs, communicate noteworthy events to site representatives and incoming officers, and support other security-related tasks as assigned.
