Job Description As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol in Romulus, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to support a secure environment.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist in maintaining order and supporting site operations by following all instructions from Allied Universal and client leadership.
