About The Position

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Arlington, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. By leveraging your attention to detail and professionalism, you will contribute to a secure environment and uphold Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that may arise within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor the environment for unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to address security-related concerns in a timely manner.
