As a Security Officer in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a leading tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required for the location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors regarding security-related matters and site policies.
Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
Remain alert to any unusual activity and notify appropriate personnel of potential concerns within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
