About The Position

The Security Officer position is essential for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. This role involves actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling various locations, and preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site. Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. The position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Requirements

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
• May involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a plus.
• No experience necessary; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems.
• Log trucks entering and exiting the facility.
• Assist with visitor check-in procedures.
• Manage access control systems.
• Monitor weather conditions.
• Distribute and log keys according to post orders.
• Answer phones professionally and efficiently.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
