You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and report observations clearly. You will support site teams through professional customer service, strong communication, and quick coordination when issues arise. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to location staff, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Monitor and respond to alarms, CCTV, radio traffic, and other notifications; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian entry by verifying identification, checking appointments or shipping documentation as required, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
- Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol observations, incident reports, and dispatch notifications, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
