Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support gate and yard activity, report concerns clearly, and deliver strong customer service to team members and drivers. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor inbound and outbound activity at access points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing traffic flow for pedestrians and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, property damage, and/or medical situations until additional resources arrive.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed hazards in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
