About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Building Patrol Driver in Greenfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, assisting with customer service, and communicating professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns in accordance with company procedures.
Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries as needed.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points within the location.
Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required in response to incidents.
