Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, interact with shoppers and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stockroom corridors, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, assist with access and closing procedures, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy concerns according to site protocols.
