Job Description As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol Security Clearance in Melbourne, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and service requests. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and use computer-based tools to support daily operations. Requirements

Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
Maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be 21+ Years of Age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting inbound and outbound traffic per post orders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as required and preserving incident details for follow-up.
Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and communicate clearly with supervisors and site representatives.
