Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. This position is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, all while embracing Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or concerns at the location.
