Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Driver

Job Description As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Driver in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will perform routine vehicle patrols to stay highly visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will support site teams with clear communication, accurate reporting, and professional customer service while working with a reliable, agile, and integrity-driven Allied Universal team.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor traffic, assist with badge and key control processes as directed, and report irregularities per site procedures.
- Complete patrol and incident reports, document observations in required systems, and communicate pertinent information during shift briefings and/or post handoffs.
