You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout your shift. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are essential as you interact with team members and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and may include driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the facility and its perimeter.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of access logs, incident reports, and other relevant documentation as required by site procedures.
- Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues and support the overall security program at the location.
