As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control at entrances and checkpoints, verify credentials and badges, and guide drivers, visitors, and employees with professional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, document activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies, including verifying identification and authorizing entry and/or exit.
- Operate gatehouse and/or lobby access points by issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and coordinating with onsite contacts for approvals and escorts.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and report irregular activity, damaged fencing, and/or unauthorized access attempts through the appropriate channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, yard, trailer rows, and perimeter, checking doors, docks, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
