Job Description As a Security Officer - Warehouse Entry Screener in Lexington, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as a Screener, helping support smooth operations through security-related screening and access control. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce incidents, respond to alarms, and document activity using site technology. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control and security-related screening procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries as required, including checking identification, verifying appointments and/or shipping documentation, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.
Monitor alarm systems, radios, and camera systems when assigned, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership according to post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response notifications and completing required incident documentation.
Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, staging areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unsafe conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
