As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. Bring strong customer service skills and a valid driver’s license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.53 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus and/or office environment.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing guests, vendors, and contractors according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; document observations and notify appropriate contacts when unusual activity is observed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical incidents, fire alarms, disturbances, and unauthorized access attempts.
Write detailed incident reports and shift activity logs, including times, actions taken, and notifications made.
Perform screening and package or property checks when assigned, following site policies and respecting privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Provide guidance during evacuations and/or shelter-in-place events as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal instructions.
Maintain a visible presence that may help to deter unwanted activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders.
Support workplace conduct expectations by de-escalating conflicts when possible and requesting additional assistance when needed.
