You will greet associates and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, manage entry and exit points, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. With a valid driver’s license, you may support mobile checks as needed. Bring strong customer service and clear communication while working with a team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
Control entry and exit at assigned access points by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor and vendor logs.
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic at gates and/or docks, confirm delivery and pickup information, and document trailer and seal information per site requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including checking doors, gates, loading areas, and staging areas.
