Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and manage entry points at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to promote a secure environment. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors, contractors, and/or employees while following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and observe for any unusual activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations at the location.
Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as directed by site-specific procedures.
