You will maintain a visible presence at key checkpoints, communicate clearly with operations teams, and provide customer-focused assistance while following site procedures. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic flow.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns through established communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting first responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard areas, parking lots, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for irregularities and reporting findings.
