You will maintain a visible presence at key checkpoints, communicate clearly with operations teams, and provide customer-focused assistance while following site procedures. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic flow.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns through established communication channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting first responders as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard areas, parking lots, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for irregularities and reporting findings.
