Afternoon, Evening shifts available.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday available.
As a Security Officer - Walking Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide courteous assistance, clear communication, and detailed reporting while working closely with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or credentials when required by post orders, and direct visitors to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public resources as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems per site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
