As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access control activity, support badge and visitor processes, and deliver customer-focused service with clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor access points and building activity, assisting with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations to the appropriate parties.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, communicating significant updates to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
