About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Screening in Fall River, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading tech and telecom location, you will welcome employees and visitors, conduct entry screening and access verification, monitor assigned areas, and complete routine patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver a people-first customer experience. Requirements

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen and verify individuals and deliveries entering the site using approved methods such as credential checks, visitor registration, and package review, helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entry points and screening equipment, identify irregularities, and communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, maintain screening and visitor logs, and document incidents, policy exceptions, and unusual activity per site requirements.
