Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing badge and key control, and documenting security-related activity. You will remain visible at entry points, communicate clearly with tenants and staff, and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements, backed by our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first teamwork culture.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and tenants by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial property.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and badging, issuing temporary passes, and directing guests to approved areas.
- Monitor security-related alarms, access control activity, and video surveillance systems as assigned, and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and loading or delivery zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
