Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government aviation location, where you will help support smooth, secure operations through access screening, badge verification, and entry control for employees, contractors, and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document observations, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or have a college degree.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location.
  • Screen people, packages, and/or equipment entering controlled areas using site-approved screening methods and verify required identification and/or credentials.
  • Control access points by monitoring entry and exit, maintaining visitor and delivery logs as required, and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the established chain of communication.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
