Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • You must be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage access requests, and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of lobby and reception area conditions, document daily activity, and complete incident and visitor logs in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location policies.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by answering routine questions, assisting with deliveries and/or visitor coordination, and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity promptly.
