About The Position

As a Security Officer - Visitor Check-In in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting day-to-day security-related operations. You will manage visitor access, monitor activity through cameras and building systems, respond to calls for assistance, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies for a commercial real estate office location.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing guests to appropriate destinations using a courteous, professional approach.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarms, intercoms, and other front desk systems, documenting irregular activity and notifying appropriate personnel according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-downs, and communicate timely information to property management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
