You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Provide clear communication, assist visitors and employees with professionalism, and document activity using site systems. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Control access at a logistics and distribution location by checking identification, verifying appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and exit logs for employees, visitors, and drivers.
Coordinate with warehouse staff and transportation partners to confirm dock assignments, direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to approved areas, and help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document activity through reports and required notifications.
Conduct regular and random patrols of gate areas, parking lots, building entrances, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
