As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting and documenting events per site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading and/or unloading zones, warehouses, and perimeter fencing; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access control points for employees, contractors, and visitors, including verifying identification, supporting visitor management, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Perform routine rounds and observations for unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, and/or spills or leaks, and promptly notify site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as directed.
