Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests and store teams with strong communication and customer service. You will complete routine rounds, observe activity, and document key details, bringing an agile and reliable mindset to every shift. Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and common areas, including entrances, sales floors, stock areas, and perimeter areas as assigned.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential policy violations, help to deter theft and/or disorderly conduct, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Complete reports and logs, communicate notable activity to management and/or incoming officers, and assist with access control and visitor direction as needed.
