As a Security Officer - College Campus Patrol Driver in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to site guidelines.
- Assist visitors and employees with questions or concerns related to security-related matters at the location.
- Collaborate with local authorities and emergency personnel as directed during incidents and/or emergencies.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
