Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk to greet, screen, and direct employees, guests, vendors, and deliveries according to access requirements.
Issue and collect visitor credentials, validate identification, maintain visitor logs, and support badge management processes as directed by site policy.
Monitor access points and entry systems such as doors, turnstiles, and intercoms, and report irregular conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Answer phones, radios, and electronic inquiries; route calls and/or messages to the appropriate departments while maintaining a professional presence.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, documenting observations and escalating concerns through established channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with site response procedures.
Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incident details, and service requests using required reporting tools and formats.
Support lobby and reception area order by addressing unauthorized access attempts and helping to deter policy violations through presence and communication.
Assist with administrative tasks related to front desk operations such as package logging, key control documentation, and appointment verification, as directed by site policy.
