About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Full-Time in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within financial institution locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals and report findings according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the financial institution environment.
Complete required documentation and logs related to patrols, incidents, and/or site activities.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as directed in response to incidents or emergencies.
