Job Description
As a Security Officer - Vehicle Driver Patrol in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas with a strong visible presence, conduct routine rounds, and help to deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and rapid response. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting clinical staff and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and assist with wayfinding and de-escalation when appropriate.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and support investigations by documenting and preserving information as required.
