About The Position

As a Security Officer - Utility Perimeter Patrol in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utility location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly to support a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues that may arise during patrols.
Collaborate with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters as they occur.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol, adapting to changing environments and conditions at the utility location.
