As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout your patrols, support a welcoming environment, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual behavior or conditions within the facility.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Complete detailed and accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the utility environment.
