About The Position

As a Security Officer - Utility Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and remain a visible presence throughout the area. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the utilities location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utilities facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance or information as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
