Job Description As a Security Officer - Utility Facility Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals onsite, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site protocols.
Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
Document observations and incidents thoroughly in daily activity reports and/or incident reports as required by site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the utilities location.
