About The Position

As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Team in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment as part of a team that values integrity, agility, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site management.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors as required.
