As a Patrol Officer at this utilities location, you will drive and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for clients and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and first aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the utilities location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe, report, and document any security-related incidents or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
Assist authorized personnel and visitors with access as needed, while monitoring for compliance with site policies.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents or security-related concerns.
Support the implementation of emergency procedures and assist first responders as directed during emergency situations.
