About The Position

As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Specialist in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions that may impact operations at the utilities location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Support Allied Universal leadership by following instructions and contributing to a secure environment at the utilities location.
