As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for those on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols throughout the area while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or maintenance needs according to site protocols.
