Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Weekdays Day Shift in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with clients and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to a secure environment, all while embodying our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and protect assets.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities and/or management.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors, providing assistance and information as required.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Remain prepared to respond to emergency situations, including those requiring the use of armed response, while following all applicable laws and company guidelines.
