Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Specialist in Beaumont, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will provide excellent customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential TWIC issued by TSA is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying the identity of individuals entering and exiting the premises and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Provide customer service to all individuals on site by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Report and document any unusual or suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Support the enforcement of site policies regarding prohibited items, restricted areas, and proper use of credentials within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment.
