As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds in Mangonia Park, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- This position is in a hospital morgue environment.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating notifications, and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as required, and help enforce property rules related to restricted areas, loitering, and unauthorized removal of items.
- Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and participate in post orders and training updates as assigned.
