As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with scene control until additional resources arrive.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors and vendors per site policy, and documenting entries and exits as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
