Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Weekday Patrol in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This role requires armed and driving responsibilities. You will support a secure environment by providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and demonstrating integrity, reliability, and teamwork as part of our caring culture.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Operate and inspect security-related equipment such as surveillance cameras, communication devices, and alarm systems.
Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay prepared for potential emergencies or security-related threats.
