As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will deliver polished customer service and clear communication with staff and visitors, while documenting observations and escalating concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, lobbies, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, directing visitors and/or contractors according to site procedures for a technology location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
